La agricultura familiar frutícola

Abstract

En la fruticultura del Alto Valle existe un abanico de agentes económicos que trabajan, producen, empacan y comercializan. Conocer los diferentes sectores sociales que la componen permite pensar políticas públicas apropiadas a cada uno de ellos. En el caso de los productores primarios, el estrato de “pequeños y medianos” adopta diversas estrategias para asegurarse un lugar dentro de la cadena. Sin embargo, en esta economía regional los chacareros quedan relegados tanto de los planes “modernizadores” como de los destinados a la economía social. Por ello se aporta aquí un análisis en el marco de la agricultura familiar.
