Abstract

BD, Ediciones de Diseño, was born in Barcelona in 1972. It was created by the members of Studio Per, the architects Pep Bonet, Cristian Cirici, Lluis Clotet and Oscar Tusquets, graduated in 1965, and the interior designer Mireia Riera. BD follows the footsteps that the Leopoldo and Miguel Milà brothers began. Previously. they had founded Polinaz and Tramo respectively in order to produce their line of furniture, initially created to integrate them in their own architecture and interior design projects. The BD chronicles is a little local story about object and interior design, and away from the ups and downs of fashion, focused on the evolution of culture, that placed it as an indisputable benchmark and leader in its field.
