Abstract

El artículo analiza las principales variables asociadas a las actitudes y valores de la opinión pública uruguaya hacia el sistema democrático. Con este objetivo intenta caracterizar la cultura política de los uruguayos proponiendo una tipología basada en las dimensiones valorativa, evaluativa y de confianza hacia el sistema democrático. Este ejercicio empírico sugiere que las actitudes que explicarían la alta adhesión de la ciudadanía al sistema democrático están lejos de ser homogéneas y se combinan de formas muy variadas
