Embriología de piel y mucosa bucal

Abstract

Se sintetizan conceptos sobre procesos de desarrollo. Se analiza la evolución de piel y mucosa oral en 23 especímenes de distintas edades (prenatal y un neonatal). El material prenatal comprendido entre 17 mm. y 300 mm. incluye diversas piezas de cada uno, seccionadas en distintos planos y sometidos a diversas coloraciones. A los 17 mm. de destaca la iniciación de: brotes para muro inmergente y lámina dentaria, papilas delomorfas, vasos, glóbulos rojos nucleados. Los estratos arteriales que comienzan a observarse a los 66 mm. presentan prenatalmente menor grado de unión que en el adulto, núcleos endoteliales prominentes y adventicia mayor que mesoarteria. A los 60 mm. es difícil observar glándulas sebáceas y a los 80 mm. hay proliferación epitelial para formación de glándulas salivales menores. A los 130 mm. el muro inmergente bien descamado origina el surco vestibular. Desde los 180 mm. las regiones presentan aspecto bastante similar al post natal. Posteriormente se unifican y completan estructuras. A los 300 mm. van desapareciendo espacios entre estratos arteriales. El colágeno tipo III envuelve a glándulas sebáceas. El panículo adiposo de mejilla está totalmente constituido. En el epitelio aumentan los desmosomas y se acentúan sus caracteres específicos en las distintas mucosas. Nunca se observan granos de Fordyce.
