Los pulgones de los cítricos

Abstract

Los pulgones o áfidos son perjudiciales para las plantas en general y para los cítricos en particular por dos motivos: como plaga directa, al debilitar al vegetal del que se alimentan succionándole la savia y cubriéndole con secreciones azucaradas sobre las que se desarrollan hongos, y como vectores de virus que pueden ocasionar pérdidas mucho mayores que las producidas por los daños directo.
