Plagas del arroz almacenado y sus enemigos naturales en España

Abstract

Se ha continuado con la prospección de las plagas y sus enemigos naturales presentes en los almacenes de arroz en España Durante los años 2004 y 2005 se colocaron trampas así como sé tomaron muestras en Sueca, Amposta, Arguedas (Navarra), Isla Mayor (Sevilla) y Huesca. Con respecto a las plagas, se identificaron 14 especies de coleópteros, 3 de lepidópteros y 8 de psocópteros. Entre las especies frecuentes se ha encontrado a Rhyzoperta dominica Fabricius, que es plaga primaria, aunque Cryptolestes pusitias Schönherr y Cryptolestes ferrugineus Stephens (que son secundarias) también se presentaron en abundancia en Sueca, Sevilla y Amposta, Sitophilus oryzae Linnaeus, que también es muy dañino para el grano se captura de forma más ocasional en casi todos los lugares muestreados. Sitorroga cerealella Olivier sólo se manifestaba en niveles preocupantes para causar daños en un aImacén de Amposta. Los psócidos fueron frecuentes en todas las localidades estudiadas: entre las especies identificadas Dorypterys longipennis Smithers se cita por primera vez en España. Además se capturaron diversos enemigos naturales como el parasitoide: Anisopteromalus calandrae Howard y los ácaros depredadores Blattisocius keegani Fox y Blattisocius gracilis Rack.
