Abstract

En el mundo se evidencia hoy una necesidad de producir alimentos que suplan la demanda de la población creciente. La proteína animal es la fuente alimenticia más biodisponible (mejor asimilación) para el cuerpo humano por su aporte de aminoácidos esenciales. La producción pecuaria ha demostrado que la industria porcícola es altamente eficiente ya que en tan sólo 4 meses se logra concluir el ciclo de vida de un cerdo desde su nacimiento hasta su sacrificio. Para hacer el proceso más rentable las tecnologías 4.0 se convierten en un aliado estratégico para controlar y optimizar los procesos que más impacto tienen en dicha producción.
