Uso e aplicações da Hipnose na clinica odontologica.

Abstract

A hipnose é utilizada como um recurso auxiliar terapêutico. O trabalho em questão com base no estudo da revisão de literatura, tem com objetivos a história e a eficácia (ou não) da hipnose clinica na Medicina Dentária. A hipnose está indicada para modificar o comportamento dos pacientes com ansiedade, distorções de tempo do trabalho, adaptação a aparelhos ortodônticos e protésicos, potencialização de anestesia, a recuperação pós-operatória, e influir no sistema simpático e parassimpático, atuando nas glândulas salivares e na hemostasia. Apresentada sempre como um tema polemico, a hipnose tem fatores que são comprovadamente contribuintes da sua aplicação na Medicina Dentária. Conclui-se que as aplicações da hipnose e os benefícios alcançados são importante, garantindo um maior conforto para o profissional e para o paciente.
