Abstract

Releer ahora, a propósito de esta presentación, Casa-grande & Senzala; Sobrados e Mucambos y Nordeste, me resultó un ejercicio muy placentero de lo que estrictamente hoy calificaríamos como una consumatio de lo politicaly incorrect. Por todos estos motivos, sólo voy a marcar algunas líneas generales de la idea de Freyre sobre la historia como disciplina, su relación con el mundo de habla hispana, la contribución de Casa-grande & Senzala a la Historia de Familia en América Latina y su lugar en el campo historiográfico argentino.
