O lúdico no processo de ensino-aprendizagem

Abstract

Pre-school Education, Primary and Middle School are the first stages of basic education and, as such, must ensure that children acquire skills that enable and foster their cognitive, psychomotor, social and emotional development. This report, carried out as part of the Master Degree in Pre-school Education, Primary and Middle School, aims to describe, reflect and debate on the experiences lived in two vocational internships: the first one with a group of 5-year-old children, and the second one with a Year 2 Class of primary school (aged 7). This work starts with an introductory note on the pursued objectives, followed by a theoretical discussion, analysis and comparison of both contexts. It proceeds with a description of the educational intervention and ends with a reflection on professionalization. As a result of a reflexive and investigative process it was possible to realize that, despite some differences, the two educational areas under study are quite similar in many ways, in particular the fact that educators and teachers work towards the same aim: organizing their work in line with the group and each child individually, capacities, needs, constraints and interests fostering active and meaningful learning which enable their future development as competent and skilled adults. From this reflection emerged the idea that with future general professionals the transition between the two learning stages will be smoother, more articulated and stable, and therefore more positive and effective for the key players in the educational process: children.
