Abstract

8.Uluslararası Antalya Kum Heykel Festivali’ne katılan ziyaretçilerin festivale yönelik algılarını ve söz konusu algının festivali tekrar ziyaret etme ve diğerlerine tavsiye etme üzerindeki etkilerini ölçmek amacıyla gerçekleştirilen çalışmada ziyaretçilerin festivale yönelik algılarının olumlu yönde olduğu belirtilmektedir. Ziyaretçilerin milliyet ve festival tecrübesi değişkenlerine göre festival algılarında anlamlı farklılıklar tespit edilmiştir. Festival tecrübesi açısından, festivali ilk kez ziyaret edenler festivali daha önce ziyaret edenlere göre daha olumlu algıya sahiptir. Aynı zamanda yabancı katılımcıların yerli katılımcılara göre daha olumlu bir algıya sahip oldukları görülmektedir. Ayrıca festival algısının festivali başkalarına tavsiye etme ve tekrar ziyaret etme niyeti üzerinde etkili olduğu elde edilen bulgular arasında yer almaktadır. Alan araştırmasının Uluslararası Antalya Kum Heykel Festivali ile sınırlı olması ise çalışmanın temel kısıdını temsil etmektedir

It is indicated that the perceptions of the visitors of 8.International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival is positive in the study performed to reveal the perceptions of visitors about the festival and the effect of the perception on revisiting and recommending intention to the others. In terms of festival experience and nationality variables, the perceptions of visitors about the festival reveal significant differences. First time visitors’ perception sabout the festival is more positive than experienced. At the same time foreign visitors have the most positive perceptions about the festival among the nations. Another research finding about the study is the effect of festival perceptions on the intention of recommendation to the others and revisit.The main reason for the paucity of study is the field research is limited with International Antalya Sand Sculpture Festival.
