Katar Ablukası Kime Ne Katar?

Abstract

Haziran ayı başında Suudi Arabistan, Birleşik Arap Emirlikleri (BAE), Bahreyn ve Mısır “terör örgütlerine destek vermek” suçlamasında bulunarak komşuları Katar ile diplomatik ilişkilerini kestiklerini ve sınırlarını kapattıklarını dünyaya duyurdular. Bir kaç gün içinde Ürdün, Yemen, Maldivler ve Libya’nın doğusundaki hükümet de Katar’a uygulanan kapsamlı ablukaya katıldı. Ani gelişen bu durum, bölgeyi yakından takip eden uluslararası ilişkiler uzmanları bakımından çok da beklenmedik değildi. Mısır’da General Sisi’nin darbesiyle Cumhurbaşkanlığı görevinden indirilerek mahkum edilen Muhammed Mursi’ye siyasi destek vermesi sebebiyle Suudi Arabistan, BAE ve Bahreyn’in Mart 2014’te Katar’dan diplomatlarını çekmeleri, üç sene sonra yaşanacakların adeta habercisiydi.
