Innholdstjenester i nettaviser. En kvalitativ studie

Abstract

Denne oppgaven handler om innholdstjenester som inntektsmulighet for nettaviser i Norge. Oppgaven er av et kvalitativt format, og jeg intervjuet flere informanter som til daglig jobber eller har jobbet med innholdstjenester som Nettavisen promoterer eller har promotert. Oppgavens problemstilling er som følger: 1. Hvordan er mediehuset Nettavisen sin strategi for inntjening via innholdstjenester i dag?" 2. For hvilke demografiske målgrupper vil denne strategien fungere?" 3. Hvilke konsekvenser har Nettavisens inntjenings-strategi i et mediepolitisk perspektiv?" I oppgaven bruker jeg blant annet Michael Porters strategiske modell for bransjeanalyse. Jeg trekker inn Jürgen Habermas og hans tanker om medias rolle i samfunnet. Noe av det sentrale med oppgaven, er hvordan Nettavisen i Norge kan bli sett på som et symbol for overgangen til informasjonssamfunnet og en digital hverdag.
