Confidential information can be one of the most valuable assets in a business. By avoiding the disclosure of such information, companies are able to maintain their competitive advantage. The main purpose of this thesis is to establish how and to what extent companies can protect confidential business information by contractual regulations according to Norwegian law. This thesis was written with a scholarship from the research project "Nordic Restatement of Contract Law". JUS399 MAJUR
