Bem-estar animal em abrigos

Abstract

O bem-estar animal refere-se à condição fisiológica e psicológica na qual o animal é capaz de adaptar-se comodamente ao entorno, podendo satisfazer suas necessidades básicas e desenvolver suas capacidades conforme a sua natureza biológica. O grande desafio dos abrigos é garantir bons níveis de bem-estar aos animais e cuidar de suas necessidades individualmente, sem perder o foco no grupo como um todo.
