Documentos da FUNAI recebidos pela CPI destinada a estudar a legislação indígena
Documentos recebidos pela Comissão Parlamentar de Inquérito destinada a estudar a legislação do indígena. São eles: Memorando nº 01/22/10/68 do Chefe do Posto Indígena Dr. Selistre de Campos à CPI; documento do Presidente da FUNAI ao Deputado Nelson Carneiro (21/10/1968), ao iniciar tal correspondência, aponta para as críticas da imprensa ao funcionamento da Fundação Nacional do Índio - FUNAI. Pede, também, licença para se defender. Comenta sobre a falta de recursos deixada pelo extindo Serviço de Proteção aos Índios, bem como a falta de apoio dos "civilizados". Um outro problema enfrentado pela FUNAI, segundo o Presidente, eram as ocupações ilegais de terras indígenas, arrendamentos feitos ilegalmente, extração proibida de madeira, etc.
