Abstract

With the splendid market in Beijing Airbnb, there is an increasing demand for relevant decision supporting tool. In decision-making, spatial analysis is significant for location relevant question solving. Therefore, the GIS should gain more attention from the business market. To demonstrate the importance of GIS application in business decision making. A web-GIS based Airbnb Beijing information web was generated with opensourced Airbnb house data and the open Application Programming Interface. It provide spatial analysis data and interactive geographic information visualization. In addition, with the case study of Airbnb in Beijing, the price prediction of Bed and Breakfast accommodation is explored with combined model. Development was executed with the User-Centred Design process, and from the feedbacks of the website testing user, the GIS is important and useful in decision supporting
