Abstract

Los desembarques de anchoveta presentan fuertes variaciones en Chile, generando alta inestabilidad en la actividad productiva. Uno de los factores que influyen en las fluctuaciones de las capturas es la alta variabilidad oceanográfica que ocurre en el área (fenómenos El Niño y La Niña) y que incide en la distribución y abundancia del recurso, haciéndolo vulnerable al efecto al efecto de la pesca. Por esta razón es de fundamental importancia actualizar todos los años el diagnóstico del recurso y las medidas de manejo para la conservación del recurso. Unpublished
