EVALUACIÓN DE NIVELES DE INCLUSIÓN DE HARINA DE CANGREJO ROJO DE TIERRA (Gecarcinus ruricola) EN LA DIETA DE JUVENILES DE CAMARÓN BLANCO Litopenaeus schmitti.

Abstract

Un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado se desarrolló, durante 7 semanas, para evaluar el efecto de niveles de inclusión (0, 5, 10 y 15%) de harina de cangrejo (HC) Gecarcinus ruricola, sobre el crecimiento del camarón Litopenaeus schmitti. Los juveniles de camarón (peso medio inicial 0.44 ± 0.02 g), se distribuyeron en recipientes con 40 L de agua de mar a una densidad de 17.8 g/m2 . El contenido de metales pesados (Pb, Cd, Cu, Zn) de la HC, dietas y camarones, se determinó por el método de absorción atómica. La calidad proteica de los alimentos experimentales se evaluó por el método del cómputo químico. Las dietas que contenían HC promovieron los más altos crecimientos (P< 0.05). Los juveniles que consumieron alimento con 5% de HC alcanzaron los mejores indicadores nutricionales. El cómputo químico mostró la arginina como primer amino ácido limitante (AAL) en todas las dietas, la lisina como segundo AAL en las dietas con HC y la histidina como segundo AAL en la dieta control. La relación entre el nivel de inclusión de HC en la dieta, el peso final (PF) y el factor de conversión del alimento (FCA) se describió por las ecuaciones cuadráticas: PF = - 0.0035 S2 + 0.0603 S + 1.1765, R 2 = 0.875 y FCA = 0.0122 S2 – 0.2026 S + 4.347, R 2= 0.882, lo que sugiere un nivel de inclusión óptimo de HC en la dieta de 8.4%.
