Abstract

Con el objetivo de determinar el efecto de diferentes relaciones proteína/energía (P/E), sobre el crecimiento de juveniles de Camarón Blanco Litopenaeus schmitti , mediante la utilización de dietas prácticas, se desarrolló un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado, a escala de laboratorio, durante 59 días. Se evaluaron 12 dietas con diferentes niveles de inclusión de proteínas, lípidos y carbohidratos. El crecimiento fue mayor en los camarones que se alimentaron con las dietas que contenían 33 y 28% de proteína, alcanzando su valor máximo en el intervalo de la relación P/E comprendido entre 105-127 mg de proteína/Kcal. Los indicadores nutricionales evaluados, también fueron mejores para aquellos organismos alimentados con las dietas de alto contenido proteico. La actividad proteolítica general (APG) y la actividad esterásica (E) mostraron diferencias significativas entre tratamientos y estuvieron correlacionadas positivamente con la relación P/E. Relaciones P/ E entre 105-127 mg de proteína/Kcal correspondientes a niveles energéticos entre 296-319 Kcal/100 g promovieron los mejores crecimientos en juveniles de Litopenaeus schmitti. Published
