
In 1985-89, 8 patients with Herpes zoster oticus were examined in the ENT department of the First Leningrad Medical Institute named after I.P. Pavlov. All the patients were treated, taking into consideration the severity of injury of cerebrocranial nerves. It is emphasized that the pathology may have many clinical forms and that it deserves special attention in AIDS diagnosis.
