Only in the last years the recognition of the solar radiation danger has been glowing. The rising curve of the skin cancer makes it obvious mainly for the medical experts and it is the high time to warn the endangered laymen. There is a great quantity of the contemporary "photopathological" knowledge but there is still a long way to go.
