Abstract

Este articulo describe la experiencia de una profesora y quatro estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande del Sur en un asentamiento del Movimiento Sin Tierra. El trabajo empezó con una actividade de familiarización que resultó en un projecto de extensión. El objectivo deste projecto es desarollar un modelo asistencial de enfermería para la populación de la area rural, considerando las especificidades del movimiento sin tierra, con la intención de adecuar la enseñanza de enfermería a la realidad. Los referenciales teoricos utilizados fueron los de Breilh (1999) y Freire (1981). Las acitividades fueron desarolladas en 1996 y trataran del cuidado en el domicilio y educación en grupo.

Este artigo relata a experiência de uma docente e quatro acadêmicos de Enfermagem da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul em um assentamento do Movimento Sem-Terra. O trabalho do grupo iniciou com uma atividade de convivência, que resultou em um projeto de extensão. O objetivo deste projeto foi o desenvolvimento de um modelo assistencial de enfermagem para a população da zona rural, considerando-se as especificidades do Movimento Sem-Terra, a fim de adequar o ensino à esta realidade. Os referenciais teóricos escolhidos para o trabalho foram os de Breilh (1990) e Freire (1981). As atividades foram desenvolvidas no ano de 1996 e compreenderam o cuidado domiciliar e a educação em grupo.

This paper describes the experience of a teacher and four students of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul within a sitting of members of a rural social movement that claims for land in Brazil. The work began with an activity of familiarization and ended up being an extension project. The aim of this project was the development of a Nursing assistencial model for the population of the rural area, considering the specificities of this movement, wishing to adapt Nursing teaching to this reality. The author sought for theoretical references in Breilh (1999) and Freire (1981). The activities were developed in 1996 and consisted of home care and group education.
