Çevresel kuznets eğrisi: Panel veri analizi

Abstract

The aim of this thesis examine the relationship between economic growth and environmental pollution for 8 OECD upper-middle income countries: Argentina, Brazil, Turkey, Mexico, Hungary, Malaysia,Uruguay and Venezuella. Panel data analysis can be used within the framework of the empirical model, the first test is variables are investigated using delta heterogeneous. Then, the CDLM test decided to this model, the observed cross-sectional dependence, stability series were investigated by means of the second-generation unit root tests. After proving the existence of the relationship between the variables are cointegrated, the long-term coefficients estimated by Dynamic Seemingly Unrelated Cointegration Regression method. According to the findings, Environmental Kuznets Curve approach is valid in Argentina, Turkey, Uruguay and Venezuella whivh are subject to analysis.
