Toplumsal Cinsiyet Algısını YordamadaCinsiyet, Sınıf, Bölüm ve Toplumsal Cinsiyet Oluşumunun Rolü

Abstract

Elde edilen bulgular alanyazın ile tutarlılık göstermiştir In the present study, it is aimed to determine the role of gender, grade, department, and socialization of gender norms in predicting perception of gender of Primary School and Social Sciences Education students. With this aim, 330 students who are enrolled in Bartin University selected by using convenience sampling constitute the sample of the study. As data collection instruments, Perception of Gender Scale and Socialization of Gender Norms Scale were used. In order to analyze the data, multiple regression analysis was applied and findings revealed that gender, grade, department and socialization of gender norms explained the 34% of the variance. Considering the separate effects of variables, it is seen that gender and traditional gender roles dimension of Socialization of Gender Norms was found significant. Results of the study are consistent with the literature
