Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the related work written in the form of masnavi by using the patterns of `fâèilâtün / fâèilâtün / fâèilün ve fâèilâtün / fâèilâtün / fâèilâtün / fâèilün` which is known to be written by a poet whose assumed name is `Derviş`. Information on the date of writing of the work could not be determined. The work has the feature of mawlid as it is based on The Prophet Muhammad's life and was written with a simple language. It is understood from the language characteristics that a language close to Old Anatolian Turkish was used in, however, the work contains citations from the verses of the Koran. The text was examined in terms of phonics and morphology. It was translated into modern alphabet by transcription and then an index was prepared from the general words in the work. At the end of the study, the original pages of the text are given to be understood better.
