Kizilcahamam-Camlıdere geopark which of Turkey's first geopark so far has been identified as a stop of twenty-three geosite has high potential for various tourism and recreation activities. In this study of Kizilcahamam-Camlıdere geopark’s geological heritage values will be introduced by geosite till it stops set for the planning and development of rural recreation activitiesto offer recommendations in terms of improvement.

Yerkürenin oluşumu ve doğa tarihi ile ilgili birçok bilgiyi günümüze taşıyan jeolojik miras alanları aynı zamanda taşıdıkları ekolojik ve estetik kaynak değerleriyle kırsal peyzajda farklı turizm ve rekreasyon aktivitelerine olanak sağlarlar. Kızılcahamam-Çamlıdere jeoparkı Türkiye’nin ilk jeoparkı olarak şu ana kadar tespit edilmiş yirmi üç jeosit durağı ile çeşitli turizm ve rekreasyon aktiviteleri için yüksek potansiyele sahiptir. Çalışmada; Kızılcahamam-Çamlıdere jeoparkını oluşturan jeolojik miras değerleri tanıtılacak, jeosit durakları için belirlenen kırsal rekreasyon aktiviteleri ortaya konup planlama ve geliştirme açısından önerilerde bulunulacaktır.
