Abstract

Se aportan nuevos registros de Dendrophagus crenatus (Paykull, 1799) para España, ampliando su distribución conocida, circunscrita al Pirineo y Prepirineo de la provincia de Lérida (Cataluña). Se recopilan datos sobre la biología y ecología de este coleóptero estrictamente saproxílico y se discute su estado de amenaza en el ámbito europeo. Palabras clave: Coleoptera, Silvanidae, Dendrophagus crenatus, saproxílico, conservación, nuevas citas, España, Cataluña.

New records of Dendrophagus crenatus (Paykull, 1799) from Spain (Coleoptera: Silvanidae) New records of Dendrophagus crenatus (Paykull, 1799) from Spain are provided, extending its known distribution area, confined to the Pyrenees and Pre-Pyrenees of the Lerida province (Catalonia). Data about biology and ecology of this obligate saproxylic beetle are compiled, and its threat status in the European territory is also discussed
