Abstract

Il volume raccoglie alcune relazioni presentate in occasione del ciclo di seminari "Letture e riletture sulla Sicilia e sul Meridione", inserito nell'ambito del progetto di ricerca FFR dell'Università di Palermo, coordinato da Salvatore Costantino, dal titolo Genesi dei fenomeni e dei comportamenti mafiosi: istituzioni, società civile e modelli teorici in Sicilia tra Otto e Novecento. Il volume sviluppa, attraverso letture e riletture di opere di autori passati e recenti, noti e meno noti, l'analisi di vecchie e nuove questioni sulla Sicilia e sul Meridione, argomentate con rigore metodologico, ricchezza di dati e di spunti di policy. Questa impostazione anima i diversi saggi di: E. Felice, S. Costantino, F.M. Lo Verde, C. Giurintano, M, Saija, M. Gammone, F. Sidoti, A. Bellavista, P.F. Asso, G. Scichilone, M. Di Figlia, M.
