Abstract

Quien conoce la obra de Javier San Martín, sabe muy bien que ella significa nada menos que la incorporación del pensamiento español a la “Universidad de la Cultura”, tal como la entendió Ortega: “el sistema de ideas vivas que cada tiempo posee. Mejor: el sistema de ideas desde las cuales el tiempo vive” (Ortega, 2005, 556) y que hace referencia necesariamente a valores y convicciones filosóficas. Por eso toda las producciones y disertaciones, que has escrito, tienen gran repercusión en mucha parte del mundo. En efecto, hay numerosos libros que hoy en día constituyen su bibliografía a disposición de nuevas generaciones de estudiantes de filosofía, y da a cada uno conforme a todos sus caminos. Este homenaje no es un punto final de llegada, es un acto de reconocimiento y nada mejor que recuperar en esta edición algo trabajos de estudiosos a su trabajo universitario, porque su carrera no es el recorrido cerrado y autista de un especialista; al contrario, nos ha abierto y abre siempre un sendero en un “bosque” de relaciones y signos, que pertenecen al mundo fenoménico y antropológico, en busca del verdadero conocimiento.
