The Other Cinema, the Cinema of the Other
How do you speak about cinema by speaking with and through cinema? This is the question addressed by students, teaching staff and guest speakers in a PhD seminar held at the Orientale in 2005. The seminar explored work by Pasolini, Lynch, Ki-Duk, Naderi, Kiarostami and visual and digital artists, linking theory and practice, ethics and aesthetics, identity and difference.
