Abstract

Che cos’è il galego-portoghese? La lingua dei poeti, dagli ultimi anni del XII secolo fino alla metà del Trecento, è la stessa usata per le opere in prosa o nei documenti giuridici e notarili? Quali sono le sue principali caratteristiche? Il manuale prova a rispondere a queste domande, seguendo un’impostazione didattica rivolta anzitutto agli studenti di Filologia romanza e Letteratura portoghese che si misurino per la prima volta con questa affascinante tradizione letteraria. Il volume si divide in due parti: nella prima si propongono i lineamenti di grammatica storica della lingua galega, soffermandosi in particolare sul rapporto che la lega al portoghese e prestando attenzione alle prime attestazioni scritte. La seconda parte affronta invece la lingua dei trobadores, offrendone una descrizione il più possibile esaustiva che prenda in esame – per la prima volta in un manuale di questo genere – le variazioni grafiche, fonetiche e morfologiche inferibili esclusivamente dall’analisi diretta dei canzonieri.
