Abstract

Chapter 8 This chapter examines Turkey’s objectives and strategies in the Caspian region in general and in the South Caucasus in particular. It focuses on Turkey’s priorities not only from a regional perspective but also in terms of trans-regional linkages which usually exert considerable influence on Turkey’s decisions and actions.
