Abstract

La historia clínica (HC) presenta dilemas estructurales en cuanto a su comprensión, aunque el mayor debate se centra en el uso de la información que allí se contiene. Es por eso que por medio del presente trabajo, cuyo carácter es descriptivo y analítico, se busca comparar las legislaciones española y colombiana, intentando esclarecer el alcance del concepto de HC através de las leyes y reglamentos que regulen los derechos y obligaciones derivadas del manejo de la información contenida en ella respecto de los pacientes.

The clinical history (CH) has structural dilemmas in their understanding, although furtherdiscussion focuses on the use of the information contained therein. That’s why in the Spanishlegislation and, to a lesser extent Colombia, has attempted to clarify its scope through lawsgoverning the rights and obligations under the management of the medical history of patients.
