Abstract

Esta tesis de doctorado enmarca una relación interdisciplinaria entre la pedagogía constructivista y el espacio arquitectónico, abordando encuentros, disparidades y alternativas para el diseño del aula de clase en colegios públicos urbanos de Bogotá. El objetivo principal de este trabajo es diseñar una propuesta de aula interactiva que considere las normas arquitectónicas requeridas para espacios educativos públicos, incluyendo, además características de criterios pedagógicos constructivistas para el paradigma del reacondicionamiento arquitectónico. Desde el punto de vista metodológico, se trabajó con una población de 47 colegios restituidos que implementan un modelo pedagógico constructivista, de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra de diez. Esta investigación se enmarca en un diseño metodológico que combina enfoques proyectivos y mixtos, y tiene como resultado final una propuesta de mejoramiento del aula escolar. Para la recolección de datos se aplicaron los siguientes instrumentos: matriz de análisis de planos para el colegio antiguo como el restituido, lista de cotejo sobre la calidad de las condiciones físico-ambientales de las aulas restituidas, entrevista a docentes y lista de cotejo sobre requerimientos espaciales para el modelo pedagógico constructivista en las aulas restituidas. Esta investigación plantea resultados que resaltan la importancia y los alcances de un reacondicionamiento del aula desde una comparación con aulas regulares, proponiendo un modelo innovador que cumple con los requerimientos de la pedagogía constructivista que se encuentra hoy día en auge en la actualidad escolar colombiana.

This PhD thesis frames an interdisciplinary relationship between constructivist pedagogy and architectural space, focusing on encounters, disparities and alternatives for the design of the classroom in city public schools in Bogotá. The main objective of this work is to design a proposal for an interactive classroom which considers the architectural standards required for public educational spaces, also including, characteristics of constructivist pedagogical criteria, for the paradigm of architectural reconditioning. At a methodological level, it will work with a population of 47 schools and with a sample of 10 schools- That methodological design includes a type of mixed projective research having as its final research product, a proposal for enhancement. The following instruments were used for data gathering purposes: analysis matrix of plans for the new school as well as for the restored school, a checklist on the quality of physical-environmental conditions of restored classrooms, interview with tutors and a checklist regarding spatial requirements for the constructivist pedagogical model in restored classrooms. This research poses results which highlight the relevance and scope of a classroom reconditioning from a comparison standpoint with regular classrooms, proposing an innovative model that meets the requirements of constructivist pedagogy that is currently a boom in Colombia.
