Abstract

Uno de los retos de plasmar la caracterización del proceso de compostaje de residuos orgánicos en una planta de tratamiento, es principalmente que la sociedad pueda concienciar que aquello denominado habitualmente como basura; puede aportar al cuidado ambiental y a la vez generar un aporte social y económico para el lugar en el que se desarrollan procesos de transformación de residuos sólidos. Por medio de una investigación cualitativa y usando como técnica para la recolección de datos, y a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a personas que participan activamente en el proceso de transformación de la materia orgánica en abonos amigables con el medio ambiente y con los recursos de la naturaleza, se pretende analizar la incidencia de la planta de tratamiento de residuos orgánicos y su proceso en los diferentes aspectos ambientales, económicos y sociales del proceso de compostaje de los residuos orgánicos en el municipio de Pacho- Cundinamarca.

One of the challenges of translating the characterization of the composting process of organic waste in a treatment plant, is mainly that society can raise awareness that those usually referred to as garbage; It can contribute to environmental care and at the same time generate a social and economic contribution to the place where solid waste transformation processes are carried out. Through qualitative research and using as a technique for data collection, and through semi-structured interviews with people who actively participate in the process of transforming organic matter into friendly fertilizers with the environment and with natural resources, It is intended to analyze the incidence of the organic waste treatment plant and its process in the different environmental, economic and social aspects of the organic waste composting process in the municipality of Pacho-Cundinamarca.
