Abstract

SIAM INGENIERIA, una empresa especializada en el monitoreo y consultoría de la calidad del aire ha encontrado dificultades en el manejo de los equipos analizadores de gas contaminante asociadas al peso, transporte y gasto de energía. Para solucionar esta necesidad, se presenta una mejora por medio del desarrollo de un prototipo de baja potencia equipado con sensores electroquímicos. Este dispositivo es capaz de tomar muestras en tiempo real de gases contaminantes (CO, NO, SO2 y O3) presentes en el aire, especialmente aquellos con alta emisión en empresas industriales. El proceso de elección de los sensores disponibles en el mercado y el diseño del sistema electrónico y la interfaz de usuario se detallan en este artículo para lograr la fabricación de este analizador. También se realiza el diseño computarizado de la carcasa del dispositivo y se hace una comparación con un analizador de gas certificado en la organización en una simulación de un plan de monitoreo real. Este prototipo tiene como objetivo solucionar los problemas actuales y mejorar la eficiencia en el monitoreo de la calidad del aire.

monitoring and consulting, has encountered difficulties in handling pollutant gas analyzer equipment associated with weight, transportation, and energy expenditure. To solve this need, an improvement is presented through the development of a low power prototype equipped with electrochemical sensors. This device can take samples in real time of polluting gases (CO, NO, SO2 and O3) present in the air, especially those with high emissions in industrial companies. The process of choosing the sensors available in the market and the design of the electronic system and the user interface are detailed in this article to achieve the manufacture of this analyzer. The computerized design of the device casing is also performed, and a comparison is made with a certified gas analyzer in the organization in a simulation of a real monitoring plan. This prototype aims to solve current problems and improve efficiency in monitoring air quality.
