The Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA), it is a governmental organization, which generates dangerous Hospitable residues, which can cause hurts in the health of the workers or affectations in the environment, due to this, there is needed the fulfillment of the environmental in force legislation, for this way, to avoid sanctions or fines on the part of the environmental pertinent authorities. For which, there was necessary the dangerous Hospitable design and implementation of the Plan of Waste management, an initial diagnosis was realized to determine the current condition of the organization opposite to the environmental commitment. There was generated the implementation of a part of the internal and external management, where the segregation interfered in the source, use of labels and bag weighing, the design of internal routes, selection of a possible location and design of the center of collection. In addition there were established the contracting of an external manager and the supplies of the elements as: containers, scale, bags and elements of personal protection necessary for the implementation of the Plan. Also, a training was realized where there treated each other environmental general and specific subject matters, the risks to which it is exposed the workers by the inadequate manipulation of the dangerous residues, the procedures and elements necessary to be able to realize the corresponding compilation, transport and final disposition of these residues.

El Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), es una organización gubernamental, que genera residuos peligrosos Hospitalarios, que pueden ocasionar daños en la salud de los trabajadores o afectaciones en el medio ambiente, debido a esto, se requiere el cumplimiento de la legislación ambiental vigente, para así, evitar sanciones o multas por parte de las autoridades ambientales pertinentes. Por lo cual, fue necesario el diseño e implementación del Plan de Gestión de residuos peligrosos Hospitalarios, se realizó un diagnóstico inicial para determinar el estado actual de la organización frente al compromiso ambiental. Se generó la implementación de una parte de la gestión interna y externa, donde se involucró la segregación en la fuente, uso de etiquetas y pesaje de las bolsas, el diseño de rutas internas, selección de una posible ubicación y diseño del centro de acopio. Además se estableció la contratación de un gestor externo y los suministros de los elementos como: contenedores, báscula, bolsas y elementos de protección personal necesarios para la implementación del Plan. También, se realizó una capacitación donde se trataron temáticas ambientales generales y específicas, los riesgos a los que se expone los trabajadores por la inadecuada manipulación de los residuos peligrosos, los procedimientos y elementos necesarios para poder realizar la correspondiente recolección, transporte y disposición final de estos residuos.
