Abstract

Esta monografía tiene como objetivo principal evaluar la viabilidad de implementación de los pavimentos permeables como alternativa de drenaje urbano para el control de escorrentías en la ciudad de Villavicencio, haciendo una revisión de la literatura mediante trabajos de grado e investigaciones, teniendo en cuenta los antecedentes de la aplicación de este tipo de técnica a nivel nacional e internacional; además se contemplan los tipos de pavimentos permeables, los deterioros de la malla vial en la ciudad de Villavicencio teniendo en cuenta la calidad de drenaje y la metodología de diseño de las este tipo de pavimentos. Por lo dicho, se concluye que los pavimentos permeables son una alternativa viable de drenaje sostenible, ya que reduce los costos de mantenimiento e instalación de obras de drenaje tradicionales, pues al implementar este tipo de estructura, se reduce el escurrimiento de aguas pluviales debido a la permeabilidad de la capa de rodadura.

The main objective of this monograph is to evaluate the feasibility of implementing permeable pavements as an urban drainage alternative to control runoff in the city of Villavicencio, reviewing the literature through graduate work and research, taking into account the background of the application of this type of technique at national and international level; In addition, the types of permeable pavements, the deterioration of the road network in the city of Villavicencio, are considered, taking into account the quality of drainage and the design methodology of this type of pavement. Therefore, it is concluded that permeable pavements are a viable alternative for sustainable drainage, since it reduces the costs of maintenance and installation of traditional drainage works, since by implementing this type of structure, the runoff of rainwater is reduced due to the permeability of the wearing course.
