El mecanismo de extensión de jurisprudencia del Consejo de Estado, tiene como objetivo garantizar los derechos y principios constitucionales, siendo relevante su aplicación ante las autoridades administrativas y la jurisdicción contenciosa administrativa, por lo que resulta necesario profundizar y dilucidar sobre su alcance, al igual que sobre las ventajas y retos que enfrenta la implementación de esta figura, que sin lugar a dudas trae consigo un impacto positivo, para la realización de los derechos de los ciudadanos, el efectivo ejercicio de las funciones administrativas y la reducción de la congestión judicial.

The mechanism of extension of jurisprudence of the Consejo de Estado, aims to guarantee constitutional rights and principles, being relevant its application before the administrative authorities and the contentious-administrative jurisdiction, so it is necessary to deepen and elucidate on its scope, as well as on the advantages and challenges facing the implementation of this figure, which undoubtedly brings a positive impact for the realization of the rights of citizens, the effective exercise of administrative functions and the reduction of judicial congestion.
