1.TEG seguridad es una empresa prestadora de servicios de vigilancia y seguridad privada con 15 años de experiencia en el mercado, en el 2016 ancazo la certificación ISO 14001:2015, durante los últimos 5 años 1TEG ha invertido recursos en mantener una certificación de la que actualmente no se tienen claros los beneficios, tanto para la empresa como para la comunidad en general, por lo tanto el presente estudio tiene como objetivo desarrollar un análisis costos beneficio de la certificación ambiental con el fin de identificar los beneficios tangibles e intangibles que 1TEG seguridad puede obtener de mantener la certificación ISO 14001. Por medio de la aplicación de encuestas y entrevistas semi estructuradas, se identificaron los beneficios intangibles que se han venido alcanzando durante los últimos 5 años, de igual forma gracias al estudio de pliegos de licitaciones fue posible contabilizar y encontrar los beneficios tangibles que se pueden llegar a obtener manteniendo la certificación ambiental, además de identificar barreras y oportunidades en términos de certificaciones para las empresas del sector de vigilancias y seguridad privada.

1.TEG Seguridad is a private security service company with 15 years of experience in the market, in 2016 it obtained the ISO 14001: 2015 certification, during the last 5 years 1TEG has invested resources in maintaining this certification, currently the benefits are not clear, both for the company and for the community, therefore the present study aims to develop a cost benefit analysis of environmental certification in order to identify the tangible and intangible benefits that 1TEG security can be obtained from maintaining ISO 14001 certification. Through the application of surveys and semi-structured interviews, the intangible benefits that have been achieved during the last 5 years were identified, in the same way, thanks to the study of bidding documents it was possible to count and find the tangible benefits that can be reached by maintaining environmental certification, in addition to identifying barriers and opportunities in terms of certifications for companies in the private security sector.
