Abstract

The degree work "FLOW METERS FOR LABORATORY TEST BENCHES", as its general objective is to carry out an investigation of the types of flow meters currently being used on the market. This investigation details the classification of the types of flow meters according to the principle they implement. For each type of meter, a definition will be given, an explanation of the principle they use, main characteristics, advantages they have over other meters, main applications for each type and some examples of primary elements for each flow meter. The idea of this document is for mechatronics engineering students or careers to use this document as a manual or information before manipulating any type of flow meter available in university laboratories.
