Aplicación para Alertas Tempranas en Seudoaccidentes para Uso en Vehículos

Abstract

Traffic accidents have become a constant as man generates innovation and development in the infrastructure of a society by creating new roads, designing and implementing images that give meaning to pedestrians and drivers, establishing regulations and statutes that help to control everyone in a city, or by combining mechanics, electronics and information systems in the design of automobiles that, as time goes by, acquire more autonomy. However, such accidents must have a control that makes it possible to establish the causes that caused the catastrophe and thus, find tools to identify the behaviors that characterize those people who are prone to commit any imprudence, which concludes in road accidents. That is why, with the help of information technologies, there is a growing need to create tools that, with the support of computer science and electronics, provide a dynamic solution to solve the problems previously mentioned. Having said this, the project proposes to create a mobile application that allows to manage the data collected from the vehicle through a Raspberry in order to perform a predictive and preventive analysis of the variables that are involved in road accidents. The mobile application to be developed is an essential complement for the development of a larger project, which consists of the elaboration of an electronic prototype that, with the help of additional electronic components such as proximity sensors, accelerometer and others, will allow the collection of the aforementioned variables in the vehicles of the city of Bucaramanga that implement this device. The analysis of these results, on the one hand, will have, the preventive analysis that gives the power to the final user of the mobile application to identify possible corrections in terms of actions committed in previous accidents guaranteeing that the scenarios presented in previous events have a significant reduction, on the other hand, the predictive analysis, allows estimating in the future what actions or possible behaviors could be committed by the driver to cause a road accident since the information collected will be kept in the Traffic Department of Bucaramanga, feeding the database with the collected data.
