Abstract

Veolia como empresa comprometida con el beneficio y mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la sociedad, busca generar nuevas ideas y proyectos que ayuden con el desarrollo íntegro de sus funciones. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo dar solución a algunos de los procesos que son realizados manualmente por los operarios de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, y que no cuentan con las normas de seguridad industrial, debidas para realizar dichas tareas, además de ser trabajo de carga extra en sus obligaciones y tareas diarias dentro de la planta, se da la opción de dos sistemas mecánico-eléctricos que finalmente también ayudan a mejorar la calidad final del agua tratada y que es devuelta al río. Dentro de la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales, si se siguen los procedimientos adecuados y de forma apropiada harán que el proceso sea efectivo cercano a un 100%; los riesgos a los que está expuesto un empleado en instalaciones de este tipo son principalmente lesiones musculo esqueléticas; las señales de peligro, iluminación nocturna y correcto uso de elementos de protección personal, hacen que no se expongas a dichos peligros. Razón por la cual, se instaura un sistema de advertencia luminosa, para la noche u horas del día en las que por cuestiones climáticas la visibilidad es poca y los operarios requieren ver la ubicación del sistema de barrelodos en los tanques sedimentadores.

As a company committed to the benefit and improvement of the quality of life of society, Veolia seeks to generate new ideas and projects that help with the integral development of its functions. The present work aims to provide solutions to some of the processes that are carried out manually by the operators of the wastewater treatment plant and that do not have the proper industrial safety standards to perform such tasks. In addition to being extra work in their obligations and daily tasks within the plant, there is the option of two mechanical-electric systems that finally also help improve the final quality of the treated water that is returned to the river. Within the wastewater treatment plant if the proper procedures are followed, the process will be almost 100% effective; the risks to which an employee is exposed in facilities of this type are mainly musculoskeletal injuries; danger signs, night lighting and proper use of personal protective equipment mean that you are not exposed to such dangers. This is why a light warning system is installed for night or daytime hours when visibility is poor due to weather conditions and operators need to see the location of the sludge system in the settling tanks.
