Vivienda rural, una alternativa desde la permacultura

Abstract

The purpose of this monograph is to show the research and project process of an architectural project on Rural Housing; an alternative from permaculture. The project is framed in a multidisciplinary design system, called Permaculture, which aims to create sustainable human environments, which harmoniously integrate housing, landscape, inhabitants, and promotes work, obtaining food, water and renewable energy, as well as its recycling and reuse in a cultivated ecosystem, which has natural systems as models, so that the habitat and the house behave as such. Rural habitat is a very interesting topic that at this historical moment is one of the political, economic, social and cultural champions of the government plan of the presidency of the Republic of Colombia. This monograph aims to know and reflect on the rural habitat and rural housing, its problems, and how they can be approached from multidisciplinary solutions with correct planning, with a new architectural, technical, cultural, social, economic order and the use of resources thus generating a new development model focused directly on housing, thus finding a balance between the daily life of the inhabitant and the natural environment.
