Abstract

Este documento identifica los componentes tecnológicos, herramientas de software, calidad de servicio, gestión de incidentes y gestión de disponibilidad del Servicio de Telepresencia. También se describe la evolución evidenciada del servicio durante los últimos años, analizando los beneficios que ha tenido la utilización de este servicio en el mundo empresarial actual. Como apoyo teórico, se utilizaron las mejores prácticas de ITIL v3 en gestión de los recursos tecnológicos de un servicio, y así considerar la utilización de un servicio basado en el estudio de la gestión de factores como la disponibilidad y los incidentes con respecto a ITIL v3. Para llevar a cabo el propósito de esta propuesta, se realizó un estudio del Sistema de Telepresencia, implementando las mejoras prácticas de ITIL v3, donde se realiza un estudio que evidencia las falencias y necesidades en el proceso de gestión. Después de identificar los incidentes más relevantes que afectan la disponibilidad del servicio, se plantean diferentes alternativas que permitan la solución de los incidentes lo más pronto posible. Por último, se realiza la gestión de los acuerdos de nivel de servicio (SLAs) generadas para la solución de los incidentes.

This document identifies the technological components, software tools, quality of service, incident management and availability management Telepresence Service. The evolution of the service evidenced also describes recent years, analyzing the benefits it has had the use of this service in today's business world. As theoretical support, ITIL v3 best practices used in management of technology resources of a service, and so consider using a service based on the study of management factors such as availability and incidents regarding ITIL v3. To carry out the purpose of this proposal, a Telepresence System study was carried out by implementing the best practices of ITIL v3, where a study that shows the shortcomings and needs in the management process is performed. After identifying the most relevant incidents that affect service availability different alternatives to slove the incident as soon as a possible arise. Finally the management of service level agreements (SLAs) generate for resolving incidents is made.
