Abstract

En el marco de las discusiones sobre la educación superior, este trabajo investigativo busca comprender los cambios curriculares contemporáneos que posibilitaron la institucionalización de la Universidad del Tolima. Su objetivo principal consiste en caracterizar la formación superior y cómo se asumió el currículo a partir de la expedición del Estatuto Orgánico de 1962 de la Universidad del Tolima, expedido por el Consejo Superior. Haciendo uso del Análisis Documental, a través de dos niveles de discusión: el externo y el interno. Los actos administrativos emitidos por los Consejos Superior y Directivo en el período mencionado son motivo de análisis. Parte del resultado del análisis del Estatuto Orgánico de 1962 de la Universidad del Tolima, permite mostrar la estructura curricular y su entramado administrativo, financiero y académico, encaminados a posibilitar el aprendizaje y el acceso al conocimiento de los educandos. Todo lo anterior enmarcado dentro de las políticas estatales del Ministerio de Educación Nacional en el periodo comprendido entre 1903 a 1958

Under the discussions about the higher education, this research document seeks to understand the contemporary curricular changes that led to the institutionalization of the Universidad of Tolima. Its main goal is to characterize the higher education and how it adapted the curriculum based on the issuance of the Organic Acts of the University in 1962, issued by the Higher Council of the University. By making use of documentary analysis, and two levels of discussion: the internal and external. The administrative act issued by the Higher and administrative Council in the period mentioned above are analyzed. Part of the analysis of the 1962 Organic Act allows to show the curricular structure and its administrative, financial and academic network, all these lead to make learning and access to knowledge possible to learners. The latter analysis was made under the government policies of the Ministry of Education between 1903 and 1958.
