Abstract

La presente investigación realiza el diagnóstico del estado actual de la recolección de residuos aprovechables fracción inorgánica para las localidades de Santa Fe y La Candelaria, junto con una caracterización socioeconómica de la población recicladora que opera en la zona de estudio, con lo anterior se diseñaron rutas de recolección que abarcan la totalidad de los usuarios de las localidades, considerando variables socioeconómicas dentro del diseño que permiten maximizar los beneficios económicos para los recicladores y ambientales para la ciudad. Se realizó acompañamiento en las jornadas de trabajo para georreferenciar los recorridos y se aplicaron encuestas semi-estructuradas, obteniendo tres tipos de recolección con diferencias en ingresos y duración, zonas desatendidas (principalmente residenciales), traslapamientos de recorridos y diversas problemáticas que envuelven a la población recicladora; para el diseño de las rutas se hizo uso de la información obtenida en las encuestas a fin de obtener un esquema de recolección más equitativo e incluyente, que permitiera maximizar la cantidad de residuos recogidos, lo cual representa mayores ingresos y menos residuos enviados a disposición final. El desarrollo de la investigación se realizó con el apoyo de la Unidad Administrativa Especial de Servicios Públicos (UAESP) a través del gestor territorial de la localidad.

This research shows the diagnostic of the actual situation of recyclable waste collection inorganic fraction at Santa Fe and La Candelaria localities besides a social – economic characterization of the recyclers population who work on that área; with this collection routes were designed to cover all the people on those specific places considering social and economical variables to maximize the economic benefits for the recyclers and environmental benefits for the city Accompaniment was made during the labor days to georeference the routes applying surveys semiestructured having as result three different types of collections with differences in incomes and duration, unattended zones (mainly residentials), hauls double atended and several issues affecting the recyclers population. For the routes design the survey results were used with the objective to obtain a new collection system more equitable and inclusive to maximize the quantity of waste collected which means major economic income and less waste to final disposition.
