Abstract

The Crime of enforced disappearance in Colombia provides a high degree of impunity. The presence of irregular armed groups and distrust in institutionality aggravates the situation. The commission of the crimes per se, together with this reality, not only increases the lack of protection of the victims, their relatives and witnesses, but also makes it difficult to have access to effective resources.
