Abstract

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo realizar una propuesta de un método para la eficiente adopción del protocolo IPv6 (Internet Protocol versión 6). Se explica con detalle como ejecutar la adopción adecuada en la entidad pública del Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA) en su sede ubicada en el municipio de Girón (Santander) conocido como Centro Industrial de Mantenimiento Integral (CIMI). Se tendrán en cuenta aspectos tecnológicos como el marco regulatorio vigente. Con la realización de este trabajo investigativo y consultivo se pretende ayudar a promover la introducción de IPv6 en las entidades públicas de Colombia, a pesar de que este protocolo lleva ya años desde su creación ha sido poco implementado en el país, este documento pretende servir de guía de coexistencia y transición para toda entidad pública que requiera su implementación basándose en las condiciones regionales y nacionales. Una de las razones de la necesidad de implementar IPv6 se debe al crecimiento exponencial de demanda de servicios y oportunidades en la red mundial de Internet; Con el aumento de las tecnologías de computación y comunicación, el proceso de innovación tecnológica se ha incrementado en varios dispositivos inalámbricos y por cable, como teléfonos celulares, puntos de acceso, tabletas, servidores, equipos de almacenamiento, entre otros, que comenzaron a aumentar la conectividad en muchas redes en el mundo y para esto han tenido que hacerlo con direcciones de Internet que permiten establecer conexiones para cada elemento conectado a la red.

This document aims to define the need to implement the IPv6 internet protocol in telecommunications networks that due to the exponential growth have been generating greater demand for services and opportunities in the global internet network; With the increase in computer and communication technologies, the process of technological innovation has increased in the various wired and wireless devices, such as cell phones, access points, tablets, servers, storage equipment, among others, which began to increase connectivity in many networks in the world and for this they have had to do it with internet addresses that allow connections to be established for each element connected to the network. Framed in the digital governance guidelines of the TIC Ministry, the Industrial Maintenance Industrial Center (SENA CIMI) as an entity of the state is adapted to the implementation of a design and subsequent execution of a native IPv6 network, expanding the coverage and security of the network. This is intended to offer a viable alternative without losing access to IPv4 services and without incurring the disadvantages implicit in other approaches in terms of administration, inherent in the operation of IPv4 and IPv6 simultaneous.
